    Extremely poor customer service and relations! Wont honour warrantee and finish off with telling me they wont put the car back together?! Fab when while your buying not so good with the after care! Martin Wright made the process a pleasure and even though its a 60 mile trip to the showroom I would come bac I had my car serviced, 11 days later my brakes started to make a noise.

    Elms checked it out and apparently I needed new discs,pads and two new tyre's after driving less than a thousand miles since se When I tried to question anyone about it they never returned my calls and had the nerve to ask me to review my experience to which I asked for a call. Two days later I got a call from a very nice lady who was going to look into it but has never called back. Shocking service from this garage, very disappoint ed as I love my Mini. Service book not filled in for last service at all, nor dated with mileage for the first.

    Still waiting to hear from Elms after more than a week as to what they are going to do about it. Picking up my new car fantastic service, very welcoming and fab staff would highly recommend excellent customer service. Initially booked my new to me E46 in at BMW Stansted on the recommenda tion from BMW Cambridge to assess my car for the anti corrosion warranty, because they have a bodyshop.

    Although it wasn't the clo Also, at the same time there was an airbag recall on the car which they did at the same time. On my return to the garage I was told the airbag recall had been done great I was then told the person I needed to speak to about the corrosion warranty was busy and then I had to wait a further 40 minutes for said member of staff to come and tell me that my car didn't approve of the corrosion warranty because it had a paint repair at some point.

    Showed me some photos of paint depth levels on his camera and that was that! Wiggled out of that one.. It's 12 years old, what did you expect? I was expecting this reply, after doing research online it appears BMW dealership s will come up with any excuse not to warrant it. The car has full BMW service history. Anyway I knew this was a loosing battle, hearing excuse after excuse, I've decided to go elsewhere and not waste anymore time..

    Few days later I get a phone call, some good news maybe? Their service technician who fitted my new drivers airbag for the recall, had failed to take a note of the serial number - therefore I would need to bring the car back to them.

    Eventually I had to call them a few times and arrange for them to come to me and take the serial number Moving on.. I thought this would of been because of the defective airbag in the steering wheel.

    On collecting the car the airbag warning lighting was off, great I thought, problem solved. I was much happier and more content about driving my car now. Until a couple of weeks later, the airbag light starting going on and off intermitte ntly, I then called BMW Stansted and told them about the issue, only to be told that they didn't actually check the airbag system, and "apparentl y" didn't run a diagnosis when they fitted the new airbag.
