    I've checked the top IPD silicone hose that goes to the turbo and it was oily and the hose has lost its stiffness. One or two changes, and you should be good to go to miles again. Seems more likely there is a leak from the oil feed top or drain bottom. But it can be done, why would yo is the question. I'm not to familar with the XC timing belt?

    I changed my turbo after Slowly but I drive it. As I hate gipsy business of Volvo to give back old part your - you pay for it with car and the give to you not new but factory repaired old one from another car. I personaly hate this and will never approve it. Turbine is made as many other parts not from Criptonium of Superman planet but from metal and all metals have life time and in hot cold hot cold work after years change structure I dont like this crap.

    When turbo blow everyone and even Vida suggest also to change complete oil tube going down small one. All gaskets must be original for high temperature as there is really hot guys. Now already km and not 1 simple oil drop on it. I didn't see many answers here as to whether or not a rebuilt one or parts to rebuild myself would be better. I don't want to do this job again anytime soon. I had just purchased the kit to do my oil trap because I was told by an indy that thats where that whistle noise was coming from and that I needed to have my timing belt done at the same time.
